Tsutomu Yonashiro, Ph.D.

Background

Tsutomu serves as the Director of Operations in the Philippines and Coach. He has worked closely with IBM’s human resources group in the Philippines, consulted for businesses and NPOs, and is a founding member of Integral Japan and the Japanese node of the Center for Human Emergence. Tsutomu’s website contains many Japanese and English articles devoted to integral approaches to art, culture, development, education, health, literature, psychology, and religion.

Education

Tsutomu holds an M.A. in Art Education from the Osaka University of Education and a Ph.D. in Philippine Studies (Philosophy) from the University of the Philippines.

Languages

Japanese (native), English (near-native), Tagalog (business).

Personal Development

Tsutomu practices an ITP that includes Aikido, weight-lifting, running, integral writing, drawing, meditation, and prayer. He also enjoys art and film.

Focus

Helping Japanese develop an integral infrastructure and integral approach to intercultural interaction while serving as a “translation and marketing gateway” for integral organizations and individuals that wish to enter Japan.
