Background

Maki serves as Chief Operations Officer and Women’s Coach for Interkannections. She previously worked as Operations Director and International Marketing Manager for a forklift export company. Her work in the export company and with Interkannections has included marketing, negotiation, translation, and business development with clients and partners in Belgium, Canada, Greece, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, and the US.

She is a member of the Japan Coach Association.

Maki has also served as the editor for the local government newsletter for the "Women and Children in Society" committee.

Education

Maki holds a B.A. in Women's Studies from Wollongong University in Sydney, Australia. She has completed the CTI foundational Co-Active coaching skills program and the Culture of Leadership Basic Training Coach Certification Program.

Personal Development

Maki balances her work with Interkannections, raising her family, and personal development. She practices a personal ITP involving aerobics, weight-lifting, reading, and meditative piano playing.
