Be-Do-Get-vs-Do-Get.png

Most leadership development firms focus on leadership styles, skills training and linear results, or the “Do”–“Get” model for developing a universal set of skilled best-practice competencies.

The Interkannections approach is different from most other leadership development firms because it dives deeper and returns the rewards of that deep dive to our clients. We use a BE-DO-GET model that focuses not only on leadership styles, skills and competencies but also includes increasing leadership capacity to be more effective at understanding and utilizing individual styles, skills and competencies. We do this through our Measure Develop and Implement (MDI) framework:

  1. Providing accurate assessments of leadership stage development
  2. Developing the “Being” level of the individual (leadership capacity)
  3. Creating customized individual organizational development programs
  4. Measuring, assessing and reporting progress in terms of capacity development, as well as key performance indicators like competencies and skill sets.

The rigor, validity and scope of our programs are unique, standing out in a market that tends to return data primarily on leadership style and skill development. Rather than helping leaders get better at solving the same problems at the same level they were created we think it makes sense to get to the root of most management successes and failures. This means working with the human capacity for:

  1. Awareness
  2. Assessment and analysis of systems and processes
  3. Action that is conscious and committed
  4. Alignment with the environment
  5. Error detection and correction
  6. Innovative thinking and action
